Master proper technique. Cut with confidence.

The award-winning Pinch Series is a progressive knife system designed to teach children professional technique through ergonomics and science.

Technique is the Basis of Every Pursuit

Most kids' knives are toys—bulky, plastic, and ineffective. We believe that to learn a real skill, you need a real tool. The Pinch Series is engineered around the Professional Pinch Grip, the foundation of all elite culinary work.

By guiding fingers into a stable "choked-up" position from day one, we help children build the muscle memory and respect for tools needed to transition to standard kitchen knives sooner and with better technique.

Internationally Recognized Innovation

The Pinch Series was honored with the iF Design Award 2026 for its breakthrough in child-focused culinary ergonomics.

Every iteration was tested with kids and Montessori teachers to ensure the tools are effective while maintaining a safety-conscious approach. This global recognition validates our mission: providing functional, high-quality instruments that bridge the gap from "toy to tool"

Your child’s safety is our priority

We hold our materials to a professional standard. Every Pinch knife features a Seamless Injection-Molded construction for maximum hygiene.

Lab-Certified: 3rd-party tested BPA-Free, Lead-Free, and Phthalate-Free. Fully compliant with strict FDA and EU food-safety standards for peace of mind in every meal.

Hygienic Design: A 100% gapless bond between the blade and handle leaves no room for food debris or bacteria to hide.

  • Tapered Bolster Guide

Our tapered bolster creates a smooth, seamless transition from handle to blade. It acts as a physical "guide," naturally funneling small fingers into the correct position. By removing bulky guards, we allow children to "choke up" on the knife just like a professional chef, providing immediate stability and confidence.

  • Precision Balance Point

Control comes from balance. We’ve engineered all Pinch knives so the weight is centered exactly where the "pinch" occurs. This creates a "weightless" feel in the hand, reducing the effort needed to move the blade. When a tool is balanced, the child doesn't have to fight the knife—they simply guide it.

  • Smooth Contact Edges

Comfort is key to long-term skill building. We hand-round the spine (top) and choil (the curve behind the blade) to eliminate the sharp "factory edges" found on mass-produced knives. This protects little fingers from pressure points and irritation, ensuring every point of contact feels soft and secure.

  • Kid-Friendly Serrations*

Unlike sharp straight blades or aggressive steak knives, our alternating offset serrations are engineered to grip the slippery skin of vegetables without being aggressive on little hands. This unique "Kid-Friendly Edge" provides a high-traction cut on food while remaining significantly more gentle on skin.

  • Pro-Grade Convex Grind

Most kids' knives use flat, cheap steel that "wedges" and gets stuck. All Pinch knives features a professional convex grind—a subtle outward curve that pushes food away from the blade as it cuts. This reduces "drag" and sticking, allowing kids to slice through firm veggies with less force.
